If you need help getting a previous version of Garbageband because you've restored, deleted, lost, can't find a download online or you're new to appleid and somehow missed the boat but you're on Catalina or lower? That doesn't 'shine' with Apple. Keep in mind that Garageband is free, not a pay app as it once was long ago. And Jake is correct as there is no way that I could find a download of the older version. It's either the BS version or nothing. BTW, the BS version can be downloaded but if you're not running macOS 11, it won't install. What should happen: when you go to the App store, find GarageBand, and attempt to download, then the App store will respond that the latest version will not run on your system, but it will give you the option to download an older version that will.
